Jupiter Marine 43 SF
The latest offering from Jupiter Marine is their eye-catching 43SF which is a superb blend of fishing, performance and comfort. Designed to accommodate quad power including Yamaha’s new V8 XTO Offshore 425 horsepower outboards, the 43SF is a fast, roomy and comfortable platform whether you’re heading offshore for an overnighter on The Rip, chasing nearshore species on your favorite wreck or reef or cruising the back bays and rivers with the family on a warm summer day. The center wheel helm is roomy to say the least and easily fits three 22-inch displays behind a black acrylic glass panel. Triple helm chairs provide ample seating while an overhead electronics box is built into the standard T-top which also features Lumitec Mirage Spectrum lighting and six rod holders. Gemlux outrigger bases hold 22-foot carbon fiber outriggers. Other helm features include a Pro Curve glass windshield, JL Audio stereo package, recessed footrest, Ritchie compass, Edson jet black wheel with Power Knob and port and starboard storage boxes with lids. Forward of the console a lounge with fold down arm rests and cup holders seats two comfortably and also has a cooler at the foot. There’s also additional forward seating with motorized backrests in the bow to port and starboard with 192-quart storage below. In-deck in the bow is a 680-quart storage locker while the forward anchor locker features a windlass and fresh water washdown connection. A 9kW Kohler diesel generator provides all the power needed when away from port.
A refrigerator/freezer and insulated drink box are located under the cockpit’s mezzanine seating for two which keeps anglers close to the action. There’s additional seating aft thanks to an integrated transom seat that also houses a 90-gallon livewell that’s insulated and illuminated. Port and starboard insulated and illuminated in-deck fish boxes in the cockpit provide 420-quarts of storage each and there’s room to add an optional Seakeeper stabilizer aft. Port and starboard dive doors and a removable folding dive ladder are also standard while tackle storage space can be found in the mezzanine seating area. Saltwater washdown plus 12 stainless steel rod holders and 360-degree coaming are also standard.
The air conditioned cabin is accessed through a port side door where you’ll step down and find an enclosed stand-up head with teak décor, shower, electric toilet, sink and vanity with quartz countertop, mirror and cabinet storage. There’s sleeping accommodations for two plus a cedar-lined hanging locker. The galley has a microwave, sink and storage and LED lighting abounds throughout the cabin.
Some of the optional features available on the Jupiter 43SF include a custom tuna tower with upper helm station, forward and rear spreader lights, seating with backrest and a flat black tower box face. Teak package options include Release Marine ladder back helm chairs, a teak helm standing pad on the bridge deck, teak helm foot rest, teak mezzanine footrest and teak bow step pads. The mechanical and electrical option list includes underwater lighting, bow thruster, air conditioned helm area and wiring for electric reels.
